Jointly held by Koelnmesse and Genertec, the first UrbanTec China Conference is established as a key segment the CIFTIS. The Conference, a two-day gathering, comprises a main theme meeting and three sub-forums, revolving around the topics of global intelligent urban trends, policies and market interpretation. In addition, the conference involves global urban decision-makers who will share macro views on their experiences of the cities at home and abroad in smart development. The three sub-forums will center on "Energy and Cities: Smart Grid and Clean Energy”, “Infrastructure and Intelligent Transportation” and "Green Buildings” respectively.

The Conference on Advanced Systems for Public Transport (CASPT) is a forum for the international community of public transportation researchers, practitioners and vendors. Organized by the Department of Transport Engineering and Logistics of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, this year’s conference is the 12th in the CASPT series. The conference aims to facilitate creative collaboration between all parties, generate and present new theories and applications of systems, and above all, advance public transport planning and operations.
The themes of the conference are the following:
- Public transport network and route planning
- Timetables planning and generation
- Vehicle (bus, train, tram, ferry, ...) scheduling
- Driver and crew scheduling
