Conference on Advanced Systems for Public Transport

What:

The Conference on Advanced Systems for Public Transport (CASPT) is a forum for the international community of public transportation researchers, practitioners and vendors. Organized by the Department of Transport Engineering and Logistics of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, this year’s conference is the 12th in the CASPT series. The conference aims to facilitate creative collaboration between all parties, generate and present new theories and applications of systems, and above all, advance public transport planning and operations.

The themes of the conference are the following:

  • Public transport network and route planning
  • Timetables planning and generation
  • Vehicle (bus, train, tram, ferry, ...) scheduling
  • Driver and crew scheduling
  • Operations monitoring, control and management
  • Information management
  • Passenger information, trip planning, route guidance
